This is one of our favorite places! We happily drive the two hours from home just to hang out in town and eat here. The steak skewer (ossenhaas spies) is THE BEST.

Cozy restaurant, nice atmosphere, great location in the city centre but the service could be better. We were given a nice almost private room in the basement. The decor and atmosphere is quite nice. Food is good. The service wasn't very satisfactory though. It was slow (could be intentional to let people chat), and they would not check that often if someone needed a drink. I asked for water, and that never came.

Having reunion drinks with old university friends. Absolutely appalled at the way the waitress spoke to one of us, when he clarified to ask if fries came with the meal, she looked visibly annoyed, using her hand to gesture at him, and did not answer his question but simply repeated what she had already said. Disappointing basic customer service skills which ruined an otherwise nice evening.
